20p Shower Gels At Asda!

If you’re passing by Asda any time soon, I’d recommend popping in and hurrying to the bathing aisle. The supermarket is currently selling selected own-brand shower gels for just 20p instead of their usual price of 75p. I’m not 100% sure why this is, but someone that worked there suggested they might have been discontinued.

The first time I went to my local Asda they actually didn’t have any, but low and behold, this week they did! It was super busy in the store when I went and I did get a few strange looks when I cleared the shelf of what was there – but who cares when you’re getting a bargain. The guy working on the checkout was really impressed with my haul!

Cute Lunch Bag At Asda – Half Price!

I popped into Asda yesterday to pick up a few essentials and while I was there I took my obligatory trip up the travelator to the home ware section – it’s possibly my favorite bit!

On my way through I stumbled upon a little display of snazzy looking lunch bags. I’m a sucker for these types of things and I treat my lunch bag as if it were a fashion accessory…

Asda’s Wonky Veg Box

Yesterday Asda launched something that got me very excited: The ‘Wonky Veg’ Box.

The Wonky Veg Box is what it says it is – a box of all the vegetables that would normally be shunned by the big supermarkets. And the best bit is that it’s sold for less than what the normal veg costs!

Bathroom Accessories From 50p Now At Asda!

Asda is my favorite place to pick up home items. For my taste, their stuff is spot on: It’s on trend and reasonably priced. I always recommend the ‘George at Home’ range when it comes to updating home furnishings.

All of the stores are getting ready to go into their spring ranges and Asda is no exception – this is the perfect time to pick up a few bits if you’re thinking of refreshing your home for the new season.

Glade Candles Only £1.04!

On your next visit to Asda I’d recommend taking a detour down their cleaning aisle – selected Glade candles have been reduced to £1.04 from £5. I love candles and so does my mum so I made sure that I stocked up! I’ve heard that this offer is on until they all sell out as these fragrances are seasonal.

Asda Christmas Decorations 90% Off!

During a visit to Asda this weekend, I noticed that their Christmas tree decorations had been reduced by 90%. There was also candles and wrapping paper in the sale!

If you’re looking to top up on your tree decorations for 2016, I’d recommend a quick look on your next visit!

I picked up a candle for 40p reduced from £4, 3 sets of owl baubles which were 60p a pack reduced from £6 a pack, 3 packs of ribbon which were 10p a pack reduced from £1 a pack, 2 JOY tree decorations which were 30p each reduced from £3 each, 3 penguin decorations at 20p each instead of £2 each and finally, 8 heart decorations reduced to 20p each from £2 each!

New Years Eve Shopping Fail!

This post has taken a bit longer to write up than I had intended, but I thought I’d still go ahead and post it for everyone to read.

I had been debating whether or not to take a trip to the shops on New Years Eve – I was in two minds: Would it be a great time to pick up yellow sticker bargains like on Christmas Eve? Or would be like any other evening in the clearance section?

The stores shut at 7pm that evening so I decided on having a quick scoot around – I didn’t want to be out for long because the weather was pretty rubbish and all I wanted to do was get home and be cosy before embarking on my NYE plans. So I jumped into my car at 5pm and off I went.

First December Sales Haul Video!

Since I’ve got so much stuff in the December sales over the past week or so, I wanted to share with you all what I had got! Most of my purchases are gifts for other people for throughout 2016 – but I did have a little splurge on myself. I thought the best way to show everything was via a number of YouTube videos.

I’m still getting to grips with making and editing videos but I hope that you enjoy watching me talk about what I got and what savings I made!

Crazy Christmas Eve Shop

A while back I read something online (or maybe it was in a magazine…) about holding off until Christmas Eve to get your turkey or other joints of meat for your Christmas day lunch. It went on to say that you could get everything you needed from meat to veg at a super discounted price just before closing time at the shops.

Given how hit and miss it normally is at my local supermarkets I wasn’t sure if I would bother this year. I mean, I haven’t any other year so why start a new tradition that will only set me up for possible disappointment. Plus it’s extra effort on a day you’d normally want to kick back and relax.

I wasn’t up to too much this evening so I did some research on which supermarkets close at what times and I worked out that I could stop by Waitrose, Asda and Tesco before the final doors shut at 7pm.

Festive Cake Pop Kit Review

I made a second festive review video and this time it was for Asda’s Christmas Tree Cake Pop kit. It was really fun to make the video as well as the cake pops!
