Following on from my last post where I showed you my fab little Soap and Glory bargain, I discovered there’s currently a great offer on their products that everyone can enjoy!
At the moment there’s a ‘buy one, get the second half price’ on selected Soap and Glory at Boots and by the looks of it, it’s both online and instore.
I’m a massive fan of Soap and Glory – in particular their bath and body products. They’re available only in Boots and it’s the type of thing I’d buy as a treat with my points.
I popped into Boots the other day to pick up a few essentials and I made my usual trip past their reduced section. I spotted a Clean, Girls bodywash on the shelf and hurried over to it – I thought it might have been put there by mistake, but no! I turned it around to see that it was just 50p! It’s only a travel size but at full price it’s £2.50 – some times the smallest bargains are the best ones – it always pays to check out the reduced-to-clear bits!

O2 Priory was started in 2011 and basically the network team up with national and local businesses to offer deals, competitions and freebies to their users.
Just last week I picked up this Thornton’s chocolate bunny (worth £3.50) and this ProperCorn popcorn from Boots (worth 80p) – both for free thanks to O2.
Mothers day has crept up on a number of us this year and although I’m prepared, I wanted to share with you some of my mothers day gift ideas. Regardless of your budget you can get something lovely for your Mum! Here’s a few things I really liked and would recommend for anyone who still hasn’t popped to the shops…

Every now and again my local Boots store sets up a clearance section for all the things they need to shift to make room for new stock. I’ve never really been that tempted by what they have on offer – it’s normally hair dyes or make-up in colours that wouldn’t suit me. I already feel crazy enough so I don’t want to start looking like it too!
The clearance area on this occasion was on the way to the tills – so as I was passing anyway, I thought it rude not to take a moment and look.
As I was scanning the shelves, something caught my eye… I don’t think I can really convey in this post the excitement I felt when I came across them. It was an incredible moment in my bargain hunting history! ‘But what is it!?’ I’m sure you’re wondering. Well. I came across some Dreamland heated fleecy under-blankets. I appreciate that they doesn’t sound very exciting, and maybe some people think heated blankets should be reserved for the elderly. But this really isn’t the case.

I had a look at what was on offer and picked up a number of sets for myself and a few other people. I ended up purchasing 7 sets costing £55.31, instead of the full price of £184.35!
I’ve never properly shopped in the Boots 70% off sale. I’ve always been working and by the time I get to have a look, it’s all pretty much gone. This year was different though – by a stroke of luck I had the day off and I decided to get involved.
I’ve already had a really successful sale shopping experience with Boots – my recent buys in their 50% off sale have meant I’ve been able to finish up my presents for other people to give in 2016. So the 70% sale was going to be all about me and what I wanted!
I’ve been debating for some time now about whether it’s the right moment to hang up my trusty GHD’s and swap them out for a newer model of hair straighteners. I’ve had my current ones for ten years and they’ve done me well. They still straighten my hair okay, but it has wide plates rather than your standard straightening plates and as my hair has changed a lot over the years they perhaps don’t quite meet my needs anymore.
Tonight while I was browsing Boots.com, I noticed that they had half off selected hair care. Some of these products include the TRESemmé range of shampoos. TRESemmé are my go-to hair care brand as I find that their ‘Moisture Rich’ range does wonders for my hair, plus it’s also competitively priced. Another bonus is that it’s normally on sale every few months. When the prices do drop I stock up on about 4 or 5 bottles – it lasts ages and I make a good saving.
Boots always have some great offers on in the run-up to Christmas, and this year they have not disappointed! One of the offers that caught my eye this festive season was a free No.7 ‘Beauty Treats’ gift box which they say is valued at £30. You are eligible for this freebie when you buy two full size No.7 products.
I’ve been after some nail strengthening polish for a little while but hadn’t got round to buying anything. I spotted that for one day only the Boots No. 7 Strength and Grow Treatment was £4 reduced from £8. I got two of these so I was able to get the free gift and I’m really pleased with the products within it.
